Dr. Mary Pang Associate Dean (Internationalization and Corporate Communication) College of Business, and Associate Professor in the Department of Management, University of Hong Kong Dr Mary Pang is concurrently an Associate Dean (Internationalization and Corporate Communication) in the College of Business, and Associate Professor in the Department of Management, at the City University of Hong Kong. Educated in the UK, Mary graduated from the University of Warwick with a PhD in Sociology, and a BSc (Hons) in Economics (Business Administration) from Cardiff University. In 1993 she joined the Department of Management at the City University of Hong Kong, teaching in the area of human resources management, and specializing in soft managerial skills training. Mary was the recipient of the City University of Hong Kong Teaching Excellence Award in 1999. She has also held Visiting Scholar positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) and Singapore Management University. Mary's research interests are varied and she has presented at international conferences in addition to publishing in international journals in the fields of occupational choice, knowledge management and career development, employee satisfaction, de-industrialization, outcome-based teaching and learning, and more recently, migrant workers and CSR. |
